Our story

Lineup Logic Pro started with a simple frustration: setting a fair, legal lineup shouldn’t take longer than the pregame warmup — and it shouldn’t be something you figure out one inning at a time from the dugout.

Every coach has been there. The rec coach doing the arithmetic in his head, hoping he didn’t just leave a kid on the bench for four straight innings. The travel coach who needs to know, before first pitch, exactly where everyone goes when he pulls his starter in the fourth. The high school coach tracking re-entry and DH eligibility on a card that’s getting rained on.

The problem isn’t that coaches don’t know their teams. It’s that the plan lives in your head until the moment it doesn’t.

So we built a tool that lets you see the whole game before you play it — every inning, every position, every player — and that knows the rules for the level you’re actually coaching.

Why every level has its own mode

A Little League lineup and a varsity lineup are not the same problem. Free substitution, continuous batting order, mandatory play, courtesy runners, DP/FLEX, re-entry — the rules change, and a tool that pretends they don’t will quietly let you make a mistake.

That’s why Lineup Logic Pro has seven modes instead of one. Each one enforces the rules you actually play under.

Baseball

Little League / Babe Ruth

Continuous batting order and mandatory play, handled for you. Lay out all six innings on one screen and see instantly whether every player gets their innings in the field — before you’re standing at the fence in the fifth realizing someone hasn’t played. Built for the coach who’s never done this before and doesn’t want to shortchange a kid.

All-Stars

Tournament rules are stricter and the stakes are higher. Track mandatory play requirements while still fielding your best defense, and know exactly which players still need innings before the game ends.

Travel / Babe Ruth

Fewer restrictions, more strategy. Map your defensive rotation across every inning, plan your pitching change before you need it, and know who slides where the moment you go to the bullpen. No scrambling.

High School (NFHS)

The full rulebook: starters and subs, re-entry, courtesy runners, and all three DH configurations. The tool tracks eligibility so you don’t have to keep it in your head — and so you don’t lose a player to a substitution you can’t undo.

Softball

Youth Softball

The same fair-play safeguards as youth baseball, built for softball rosters and the softball field. Every player accounted for, every inning visible.

Travel Softball

Competitive rotations with the flexibility select ball demands. Plan your circle changes and the defensive shuffle that follows them, inning by inning.

High School Softball (DP/FLEX)

DP/FLEX is where more lineup cards get blown up than anywhere else in the game. This mode handles it properly — the DP, the FLEX, who’s hitting for whom, and what happens when they swap — so your card is legal when the umpire looks at it.

What we believe

A game plan isn’t a formality. It’s the difference between a coach who’s reacting and a coach who’s already three innings ahead.

For a first-year rec coach, that means walking off the field knowing every kid played. For a varsity coach, it means the pitching change was decided in the parking lot, not on the mound. Different coaches, same idea: do the thinking before the first pitch, and spend the game coaching.

Lineup Logic Pro was built by a high school coach who got tired of doing that thinking on the back of a lineup card, and it’s designed, built, and supported by Hybrid Studios, LLC, a creative and web-development studio.
